Dear renalmri.org Community,

The year 2026 is approaching, and hence, we want to look back and explore the future together.

Looking back, The 6th International Renal Imaging Meeting in Pamplona, Spain: What an inspiring meeting with excellent contributions and many stimulating discussions! We would like to thank you all for making this possible. Every contribution and every discussion, as small as it might appear at the first glance, is key to advanced renal imaging in clinical practice.
Looking forward,
- Take the chance, and shape the future of renal MRI, and submit your candidacy for the next renalMRI.org vice-chair position. Both junior and senior researchers are warmly encouraged to engage with us! Please submit your candidacy, including a photo and a brief statement about yourself, along with an explanation of your motivation to lead renalmri.org, to: renalmri@gmail.com Deadline: 30th of December 2025. We will use the given information to present you to the community and to facilitate the vote. The vote will be open from the 1st of January 2026 to the 14th of January 2026.
- Last but not least, as discussed during the Pamplona meeting, we need to decide for the next international renal imaging meeting location. Please send us a short excerpt, including a short presentation of you and your team, the location as well as your special focus and motivation. You can add up to 3 images. Send your resume to renalmri@gmail.com. Deadline: 30th of December 2025. We will use the given information to present your proposal to the community and to facilitate the vote. The vote will be open from the 1st of January 2026 to the 14th of January 2026.
